summer fun

yeah, so it's been awhile since i last posted. it's because i'm lazy busy. actually this summer has been treating me quite well. i've been partying a lot, relaxing a lot, kind of working a lot, beading a lot, gardening a lot... the usual.

last week i got a new logo project and i decided that i wanted it to be a very 3-d, illustrative, icon-ish logo, so i started searching icons for ideas. this lead me to one of my old favorite places to visit, icon factory and the next thing i knew i was changing out every icon on my computer. i went with the litho set, which totally kicks ass and now every time i come back to my computer, i have a cool new set of icons waiting for me. yep, i'm a total nerd. but think of it this way, i stare at my computer more than i stare at anything else on a daily basis, so it's basically just like redecorating a room you've lived in for 10 years. i know, i'm still a nerd.

this was the first year i hung a flower basket on my back porch and a little morning dove is happy i did. she decided to build her nest in there and have two little baby morning doves. the cats have been going crazy and i've made sure to take pictures of them.
