at my last doctor's appointment i got asked if i had felt any contractions yet. my answer was, "i don't think so, what do they feel like?" then i thought to myself, contractions are probably like orgasms in that sense. if your response to whether or not you have had one is "i don't know, what do they feel like?" then the answer is most likely no.
